Leah Day is a musician. She loops her voice, plays snippets of instruments, whistles and sings within a broad tonal spectrum of heartfelt vocalization and poetic compositions.

Listen UP.

Leah Day compares abstract art to the yolk and the music Leah expresses to the albumen. Her preferred method to record compositions is with a 1996 Shure Beta mic. One of the most soulful beginnings of creating music is by repeating human vocalizations, simple rhythmic patterns and the use of silence.

There is a very purposeful white noise in the backdrop of Leah's recorded compositions as if inviting the spirit world to join on the frequency. Her fascination with Electronic voice phenomenon is evident in each sample track she has released here.

Her musical expressions have been described as "freak folk" comprised of blues, rock, hip hop and opera.
